New Health and Wellbeing Hub for Edenhope

The New home for District Nursing, Post-Acute care, The Rural Outreach team, the Cancer Resource Nurse, Data and Intake officer and the Community care Coordinator, as well as some of our visiting specialists.

Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital CEO Andrew Saunders together with Primary Health Manager Robyn Salt are pleased to announce that a number of the Primary Health team will be moving to a new office located on Elizabeth street, the site previously occupied by Kincraig Medical Clinic.

“We are excited that we have been given the opportunity to lease this building from Kincraig as it provides us more space for our Primary Health team.” said Ms Salt. We are grateful to the EDMH Board for supporting this change, which will see us able to provide more face-to-face service to our Primary Health clients.”

“We will be naming the offices the “Health and Wellbeing Hub” as it will house District Nursing, Post-Acute care, The Rural Outreach team, the Cancer Resource Nurse, Data and Intake officer and the Community care Coordinator, as well as some of our visiting specialists.

The Hub is in a great location right in the centre of town and having the new Data Intake Officer and Community Care Coordinators located here means people can drop-in and ask questions about our services and the best way for them to be accessed”.

“Some moving of furniture has already commenced and we hope to be moved in and doors opened over the next week.”

EDMH CEO Andrew Saunders would like to assure the community the Edenhope Medical Clinic, located on Lake street at the back of the Hospital is open and welcoming new patients.

“We are very grateful to Rural Doctors and Dr Sabiha and thank them for the service they provide to the community and the support they provide to the hospital”.

“Any current Kincraig patients who would like to continue to see a doctor in Edenhope should contact the Rural Doctors on 5585 9888, to complete the required forms to have your file transferred over from Kincraig.”
