COVID-19 and Vaccination Information session

Do you have concerns or questions about COVID-19 and the vaccines?

We are so lucky to have Dr Rob Grenfell coming to talk to our staff and the community on Monday about COVID-19 and the vaccinations available.
Monday the 24th of May, 2pm at the Elsie Bennett Community Centre. This is a free community event. RSVP's preferred for catering purposes saram@edmh.org.au
Dr Rob Grenfell grew up in the Wimmera and worked as a GP in Natimuk and Horsham for many years. During that time he also worked as a public health physician at the General Practice Network in Horsham. When Covid19 hit he was working for CSIRO (Commonwealth Science, Industry and Research Organisation) managing the health and biosecurity units.
The need to work from home meant he could move back to the Wimmera, and he is keen to share his knowledge - about pandemics, the development of Covid19 vaccines and how to stay safe and healthy in a pandemic - to people in his community. He regularly talks with community groups, on TV and radio about all things Covid, and is an expert in translating health information.
We encourage anyone with questions or concerns to come along. We will also be streaming his presentation and Q&A live on facebook and will make it available for the community to view.
