EDMH Nursing Staff receive their vaccinations

"I recommend everyone gets it even though there is low risk in our community, The potential that there could be another outbreak is sill there."

Today we held a vaccination clinic at the Elsie Bennett Centre for staff and some community volunteers.
The AstraZenca vaccination was on offer which has been recommended for those aged over 50. There will be a clinic in the near future for those wanting to recieve the Pfizer vaccination.

Registered nurse Di Oliver lined up to receive the jab.

Di encourages others to take the opportunity to have their free vaccination when it becomes available.

"I could not think of a worse way to go, if I was to die from COVID - drowning in your own fluid all on your own."

"I recommend everyone gets it even though there is low risk in our community, The potential that there could be another outbreak is sill there."

"I have done my bit to protect our community, we all need to do our part to protect those that can't be immunised and it didn't hurt a bit"

We would like to thank all the staff who assisted in rolling out the vaccination clinic and a big thank you to Tricia McInnis who co-ordinated it all.
